Cross-Stitch Stash Support

Cross-Stitch Stash keeps fabric calculations, scraps, projects, DMC inventory, and shopping needs together on one device.

Calculate fabric

• Enter the chart's stitch width and height, fabric count, and whether the design is stitched over one or over two threads.
• Set a clear margin and finishing allowance for each side. The finished design and full cut size are shown separately.
• Open Hoop and frame to check the finished stitched area against an opening before you begin.

Use fabric scraps

• Measure an offcut and enter its fabric count and stitch mode.
• The app rounds down to the largest whole-stitch chart that fits after allowances.
• Select an active project to test both fabric orientations and assign a suitable piece.

Keep DMC stock and shopping together

• Add whole or partial skeins from the bundled DMC catalogue.
• Add exact thread needs to each active project.
• The shopping list combines projects, subtracts the stash, and rounds each positive shortage up to a whole skein.

Move or protect your records

• Open Settings and backup, then export a JSON backup before changing phones or clearing the app.
• Use Import backup to restore the file you previously saved.
• Export the shopping list as CSV when you want a simple file for printing or a spreadsheet.
