Cross-Stitch Stash: Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Cross-Stitch Stash is a private fabric calculator, DMC inventory, project planner, and shopping list made by Ever After Group. The short version is simple: your craft records stay on your device and are never supplied to advertisers.
Information stored on your device
The app stores project names, chart dimensions, fabric choices, margins, finishing allowances, saved fabric pieces, DMC quantities, project thread requirements, shopping state, notes, and preferences on the device. Ever After Group does not receive these records.
Backups and shopping files
A JSON backup or shopping CSV file is created only when you request an export. You choose where to save or share the file. Restoring a backup reads only the file you select. Ever After Group does not receive a copy.
Advertising and consent
The free edition shows one Google AdMob banner below the app. The banner stays hidden while a dialog is open. The app does not use interstitial, rewarded, native, or app-open adverts.
Google Mobile Ads may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device and app identifiers, advert interactions, consent choices, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure adverts, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Cross-Stitch Stash does not add project names, measurements, fabric records, DMC inventory, thread needs, shopping lists, notes, or backups to an advert request. The Android advertising identifier and Android Privacy Sandbox advertising permissions are removed from the app manifest.
Where required, Google's consent form appears before advertising starts. You can accept, refuse, or manage the available choices, and you can reopen advertising privacy choices from Settings.
Remove Ads purchase
You can make a permanent one-time Remove Ads purchase through the store where you installed the app: Google Play for the Google Play edition, or Amazon Appstore for the Fire tablet edition. That store processes payment details and supplies the app with purchase receipts and an entitlement. The app keeps the confirmed entitlement on the device so it remains available offline. Ever After Group does not receive payment-card details or upload your purchase receipts to its own server. Restore purchase asks the same store to check the entitlement again.
Other network use
The app connects to Google Play or Amazon Appstore, depending on its edition, for purchases and restoration and to Google Mobile Ads for advertising and consent. It has no account system, remote craft database, developer analytics, or cloud backup service. Ever After Group does not sell craft or inventory data.
Children
Cross-Stitch Stash is a general-audience craft utility and is not directed specifically at children.
Your control
You can edit or remove individual records, clear all local app data, delete exported files, or uninstall the app. Because Ever After Group does not hold your craft records on its systems, there is no craft-data account for us to retrieve, correct, or delete.
