Saint & Season: Privacy Policy

Saint & Season is a Catholic calendar, saint finder, prayer companion, confession aid, and family sacrament record made by Ever After Group. The short version is simple: your personal faith records stay on your device and are never supplied to advertisers.

Information stored on your device

The app can store your calendar region, practice marks, saved saints, guided prayer progress, confession preparation checklist, last confession date, family sacrament records, reminder choices, and app settings. This information is stored locally on your phone. Ever After Group does not receive it.

Confession preparation

The confession screen uses a fixed checklist and deliberately does not ask you to type a detailed list of sins or other sensitive notes. Checklist marks and any date you choose remain on the device and can be cleared at any time.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app asks for notification permission and schedules prayer, Friday penance, or holy day reminders on the device. There is no notification server and no account.

Backups

You may choose to export a portable backup. The app creates that file only when you ask. You decide where to save or share it, and Ever After Group does not receive a copy.

External sources

The calendar and saint directory are bundled with the app for offline use. Source links are optional. If you tap one, your device opens the relevant external website, such as Wikidata, Romcal, or a bishops' conference site. Those websites have their own privacy practices.

Health-related searches

Patron saint suggestions for pain, illness, pregnancy, anxiety, or similar situations are devotional only. They do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care, and no health information is sent to us.

Advertising and consent

The app shows a small Google AdMob banner on selected general screens. No advert appears in prayer guides, novenas, Scripture or spiritual reading, saint profiles, confession preparation, or family sacrament records. The app does not use interstitial, rewarded, native, or app-open adverts.

Google Mobile Ads may process device identifiers, your IP address and the approximate location inferred from it, advert interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure adverts, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Saint & Season does not add prayer choices, novena intentions or progress, Scripture reading progress, saved saints, confession information, parish events, family records, or other devotional data to an advert request.

Where required, Google's consent form appears before advertising starts. You can accept, refuse, or manage the available choices, and you can reopen the privacy choices from Settings. The app has no analytics service and does not sell personal data.

Remove Ads purchase

You can make a permanent one-time Remove Ads purchase through Google Play. Google Play processes payment and supplies the app with an entitlement. Ever After Group does not receive your payment details. The app keeps a local record so adverts remain hidden, and the Restore purchase control asks Google Play to check the entitlement again.

Other network use

The app connects to Google Play for purchases and restoration and to Google Mobile Ads for advertising and consent. Optional source links open external websites only when you select them. The app has no account system, cloud database, or remote devotional record.

Children

Saint & Season is a general-audience religious companion and is not directed specifically at children.

Your control

You can clear individual records, reset the app, delete exported backups, or uninstall the app. Because Ever After Group does not hold your devotional app data on its systems, there is no account data for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. You can also reset advertising consent from Settings and use the privacy controls provided by Google Play and Google.
